Michael’s foodservice career began working at Wendy’s when he was 15 years old. After high school he enrolled in a bakery and pastry course that taught him the basics of the trade. He used these skills working in a number of bakeries and eventually opening his own shop with two of his brothers “Brother Bakery”.
After running the bakery for a couple years he decided to get out of the kitchen and try working in other areas of foodservice. First with an ingredient wholesaler and eventually selling bakery equipment. In 1996 he recognized there was an opportunity for a manufacture agency focused on foodservice and bakery equipment so he began Flanagan Agencies Inc (FAI).

Brent joined the FAI team in 2005 with 20 years’ experience as a Foodservice professional at that time.
Brent’s main focus with FAI is Dealer sales, support and product training as well as direct end user contact with regards to promoting, specifying and supporting all of FAI’s lines as well as specializing with equipment and contract sales.

Melanie joined the FAI team in May 2012, working throughout the summer months while completing her post-secondary education. She has a business degree with a major in accounting and is now working full-time in FAI’s accounting department.
Melanie’s main focus is accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting and customer service.
